Not until recently I found out that these two characters do not go well together.
Suppose a righteous man sees injustice happened, it would be easy for him to judge according to righteousness.
Suppose a merciful man sees injustice happened, it would be normal for him to find courage to forgive.
Can a man be righteous and merciful at the same time? If he forgives, he is not righteous. If he judges, he is not merciful. How exactly is the character of a man, who is righteous and merciful?
God, how tough is that to be in your position!
May your name be feared, by evil doers with evil schemes.
May your name brings comfort, for those who earnestly repent.
